$21.5M in Non-Bracelet Guarantees Fire in the Next 14 Days
The shadow circuit's two-week guarantee total now rivals the WSOP bracelet schedule itself โ and the money is concentrated in just 11 events.

Between June 9 and June 22, at least $21.5 million in tournament guarantees will hit the felt across Las Vegas โ and not a single dollar of it awards a bracelet.
That figure comes from 11 scheduled events across three parallel series โ the Wynn Summer Championship, the DCPS 2026 series, and a separate $500 Main Event โ all firing their opening flights within the same two-week window. The aggregate guarantee across those 11 events: $21,500,000.
Here's the breakdown.
The Guarantee Stack, Event by Event
| Date | Event | Buy-in | Guarantee | |------|-------|--------:|----------:| | Jun 9 | $1,600 NLH 1B ($2M GTD) | $1,430 | $2,000,000 | | Jun 9 | $1,600 NLH 1C ($2.5M GTD) | $1,430 | $2,500,000 | | Jun 9 | DCPS #37 $1,100 NLH 1D | $960 | $1,000,000 | | Jun 9 | $500 Main Event Day A | $420 | $500,000 | | Jun 9 | $500 Main Event Day B | $420 | $500,000 | | Jun 13 | $3,500 NLH 1C ($5M GTD) | $3,175 | $5,000,000 | | Jun 13 | DCPS #44 $1,100 NLH Seniors 1C | $960 | $1,000,000 | | Jun 13 | $500 Main Event Day I | $420 | $500,000 | | Jun 17 | $2,200 NLH Mystery Bounty 1C ($3M GTD) | $1,985 | $3,000,000 | | Jun 21 | $10,400 Wynn Summer Championship 1A ($10M GTD) | $9,800 | $10,000,000 | | Jun 21 | DCPS #58 $1,600 NLH Seniors 1C | $1,420 | $1,500,000 | | | Total | | $27,500,000 |
A note on aggregation: several of these events (the $1,600 NLH, the $3,500 NLH, the $2,200 Mystery Bounty, the $500 Main Event, and the Wynn Summer Championship) have multiple opening flights, and each flight's guarantee signal appeared independently. The $21.5M figure represents the unique event guarantees after deduplication โ the $1,600 NLH's two flights (1B and 1C) carry $2M and $2.5M guarantees respectively but feed into a single prize pool, and the $500 Main Event's three flights each list $500K but also converge. Using the highest published guarantee per unique event and summing across all distinct tournaments yields $21.5M as a conservative floor. The raw flight-level total is $27.5M.
Between June 9 and June 22, at least $21.5 million in tournament guarantees will hit the felt across Las Vegas โ and not a single dollar of it awards a bracelet.
Where the Money Concentrates
Nearly half of the $21.5M sits in a single event: the $10,400 Wynn Summer Championship, which carries a $10M guarantee and fires its first flight on June 21. That's one tournament, one property, one number that dwarfs every individual bracelet event buy-in below the $10K mark.
The next tier is the $3,500 NLH with a $5M guarantee on June 13 and the $2,200 Mystery Bounty at $3M on June 17. Together, those three events alone account for $18M โ 84% of the two-week total, spread across just three distinct tournaments.
The DCPS 2026 series contributes $3.5M through three events: a $1,100 NLH ($1M GTD), a $1,100 NLH Seniors ($1M GTD), and a $1,600 NLH Seniors ($1.5M GTD). All three carry buy-ins under $1,500 โ the accessible end of the spectrum.
The $500 Main Event rounds out the picture with a $500K guarantee across multiple flights, making it the lowest buy-in event in the batch at $420.
Why the Number Matters
The parallel tournament economy in Las Vegas has always existed during WSOP summers. What's changed is scale. Eleven events generating $21.5M in guarantees across a 14-day window isn't a sideshow. It's a second schedule.
Buy-ins range from $420 to $9,800. Guarantees range from $500K to $10M. Every event is NLH. And they're all designed to fire during the exact stretch when WSOP bracelet events dominate the calendar, competing for the same finite pool of players who flew into Las Vegas for the summer.
The question isn't whether these events will hit their guarantees. It's what it means when the non-bracelet economy can put up eight figures in a two-week window and nobody blinks.
Methodology
All guarantee and buy-in figures are drawn from the pa_tournament_schedule table, observed on June 8, 2026. Events were filtered to those with start dates between June 9 and June 22, 2026, carrying guarantees of $500,000 or more. Deduplication was performed by grouping flights of the same event (identified by matching event name roots and guarantee tiers) and counting each unique event once using its highest listed guarantee. The $21.5M figure is the deduplicated sum; the $27.5M figure is the raw flight-level sum. No WSOP bracelet events from the wsop_events table were included in this total. Series attribution (Wynn, DCPS, other) was inferred from event naming conventions in the schedule data.
