Eighteen remain across two tables in WSOP Event #90, the $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em 8-Handed. Four eliminations in the last 90 minutes collapsed three tables to two, and the field is stacked.

Who's Still In

Jeremy Ausmus — six bracelets, one ring, $16.9M in lifetime cashes, 58 career final tables — is still seated. Daniel Negreanu is right there with him, holding 5,700,000 in chips, eight bracelets to his name and $36.3M lifetime. Punnat Punsri, Thailand's high-roller regular with $11M in career earnings and 15 final tables, busted 20th as the field condensed.

The Grind to Nine

The field stood at 27 around 5:20 AM. By 6:50 AM, nine players had hit the rail — Michael Macchia (19th, $395K lifetime), Istvan Birizdo (Slovakia), Tom Fuchs (Germany, one bracelet, $4.67M lifetime), Zachary Grech, and Gustavo Ortega Jimenez among them.

Eighteen to nine means one more full table has to break before the unofficial final table draws. At this pace, that could happen before 9 AM PT.
