Five WSOP Events Running at 3 AM on the Fourth of July

At 3:15 AM on July 4, the Horseshoe has five WSOP events running simultaneously. Two final tables are live, two more events are grinding toward theirs, and a $135 Mega Satellite is in its death throes. Happy Independence Day.

The Bracelet Event: $5K Super Turbo Bounty

Event #84 is down to eight players, and the chip leader is Yenhan Chen of Taiwan, who sits on 20,100,000. Chen has $163K in lifetime cashes — modest company for the names that just missed. Naoya Kihara, the three-time bracelet winner from Japan with $2.8M in career earnings and 11 final tables, busted in 10th. Khoi Le Nguyen, who owns a bracelet and $3.29M in lifetime cashes, went out 9th.

The $400 Daily Deepstack — Six Left

Event #414's final table is already short-handed. Md Bikas leads with 3,020,000 in chips. This is Bikas's first tracked WSOP result — lifetime earnings entering the night: $1,822. Argentina's Fernando Canaparo sits second at 2,275,000. France's Bastien Joly, who has $184K lifetime and two prior final tables, holds 1,275,000.

The $250 Daily Deepstack — Eight at the Final

Event #410 has its full final table of eight. Kevin Kelly leads at 3,836,000 with Frank Garcia ($2,650,000) close behind. Neither player has significant tracked earnings. This is a table full of players chasing a first meaningful score.

The $200 Deepstack and the Mega Satellite

Event #417 ($200 Daily Deepstack) is down to 22 players, still carving toward a final table. Waku Harako of Japan holds 786,000 — the only reported stack.

And then there's Event #418: the $135 Mega Satellite, four players left, three seats awarded. Phillip Teel — a WSOPC ring winner with $79K lifetime and six final tables — is the most credentialed player remaining. Yuki Ando (Japan), Sk Poker (India), and James Marshall (Great Britain) round out the field. One of them goes home empty.

Five events. Three countries represented at one satellite table alone. The Horseshoe floor at 3 AM on the Fourth of July is louder than any fireworks show on the Strip.
