Jeremy Blatt's $5,450 Career Meets a $400 Bracelet Event Chip Lead
A player with less than six grand in lifetime earnings is sitting on 1.475 million chips and leading 24 survivors in WSOP Event #414.

The Chip Lead Nobody Predicted
Jeremy Blatt has won $5,450 playing tournament poker in his entire life — and right now, past midnight on July 4, he's sitting behind 1.475 million chips and leading the final 24 players in WSOP Event #414, the $400 Daily Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em.
That 1.475M stack isn't just the chip lead. It's more than four times the next-largest confirmed stack on the leaderboard.

The Field Around Him
Peter Dejong, from the Netherlands, sits second among reported stacks at 910,000. Eric Schutz — another small-résumé player with $3,596 in lifetime cashes — holds 780,000. Halisson Beilke Mussoline, a Brazilian with $22,313 in career earnings, is at 336,000.
The most decorated player still alive is Ronald Sewell: four WSOP Circuit rings, 10 career final tables, and $842,007 in lifetime earnings. His chip count hasn't been reported in the latest update, but Sewell is the only player remaining with meaningful hardware on his poker résumé.
The field dropped from 31 to 24 in roughly 30 minutes. That pace tells you the stacks are shallow enough that shoves are getting called — and Blatt kept winning them.
Why You Should Be Watching
A $400 bracelet event at 12:30 AM is the purest version of the WSOP. No sponsored patches. No rail birds three-deep with iPhones. Just a guy whose entire career earnings wouldn't cover a single bullet in a $10K, holding a stack that could change his life.
Blatt has zero bracelets, zero rings, and a Hendon Mob page that fits on a Post-it note. If he closes this out, the bracelet alone would be worth roughly 50 times everything he's ever cashed for.
Stream runs into the early morning hours at WSOP.com.
