One Event, 21 Fantasy Cashes: The 6-Max That Broke the Scoreboard
WSOP Event #56, the $3,000 6-Handed NLH, produced more rostered-player cashes than any other single bracelet event this summer.

Twenty-one rostered players cashed in a single bracelet event overnight, the most fantasy-relevant field concentration of the 2026 WSOP so far.
WSOP Event #56, the $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em, didn't just pay out big. It paid out wide. Across the 25kFantasy contest, 21 rostered players hit the money, scattering points across 14 different teams. Some teams doubled up. Others got nothing. And the gap between them grew by five figures in a single night.

The Top Scorers
Joey Weissman led all fantasy-relevant finishers with a $21,660 cash and a 19th-place finish. That score landed on the Chocolate Factory (Frederic) roster, which turned out to be the night's biggest winner for reasons beyond Weissman alone.
Brandon Sheils took home $17,500 (26th place) for Stake Kings (Ryan Stiner). Nick Schulman added $10,360 (46th) for Verderamo (Nick + Jake). Jun Obara cashed for $9,050 (51st), boosting Lady Gaga (Ren Lin).
The deepest min-cash paid $6,010, and twelve rostered players landed in that cluster, from rank 124 down to rank 172.
Team-Level Distribution
Here's where the 6-max format's fantasy impact gets interesting. Some teams stacked multiple cashes from this single event. Others watched from the rail.
Multi-cash teams from Event #56:
- Chocolate Factory (Frederic): 3 cashes. Weissman ($21,660), Jon Kyte ($6,010), Josh McCully ($6,010). Combined haul: $33,680.
- Stake Kings (Ryan Stiner): 2 cashes. Sheils ($17,500), John Riordan ($7,340). Combined: $24,840.
- Lady Gaga (Ren Lin): 2 cashes. Obara ($9,050), Alex Foxen ($6,310). Combined: $15,360.
- Verderamo (Nick + Jake): 2 cashes. Schulman ($10,360), Andrew Lichtenberger ($6,310). Combined: $16,670.
- Team Noori (Noori): 2 cashes. Joao Vieira ($6,310), Justin Zaki ($6,490). Combined: $12,800.
- Spitework (Wantman): 2 cashes. Punnat Punsri ($6,010), Renji Mao ($6,010). Combined: $12,020.
- Gators (Moncek): 2 cashes. Brandon Wilson ($6,010), Ryan Leng ($6,010). Combined: $12,020.
Seven of the 14 teams that scored from this event landed multiple cashes. Chocolate Factory's three-player pileup is the kind of single-event roster spike that can vault a team up the leaderboard without any deep runs at all.
Why 6-Max Events Are Fantasy Gold Mines
The structural math is straightforward. A 6-max event seats fewer players per table, which means a smaller total field relative to a full-ring event at the same buy-in. Smaller fields mean a higher percentage of the field cashes. And when the field skews toward experienced players (as a $3,000 buy-in typically does), the proportion of rostered players in the cash zone increases further.
The result: Event #56 didn't produce one massive score. It produced 21 modest-to-solid ones spread across 14 rosters. That's a fundamentally different fantasy profile than a $600 event where one rostered player goes deep and everyone else bricks.
Single-Cash Teams
Seven more teams picked up exactly one cash apiece:
- Team Glaser (Benny Glaser): Blaz Zerjav, $8,070
- Back Office (Becker): Aaron Kupin, $7,340
- Team Lucky (Shaun Deeb): Max Neugebauer, $6,490
- Blez/NGNF (Hanks): Sam Laskowitz, $6,490
- Handsome Horses (Phil S): Anthony Zinno, $6,010
- Premiums Only (Fawcett): Dylan Linde, $6,010
Every one of those $6,010-$8,070 cashes represents quiet equity. Individually forgettable. Cumulatively, they're the difference between a roster that's grinding toward the money and one that's stuck.
