Vineet Pahuja has nearly $2 million in lifetime tournament earnings, 33 final tables, and a WSOPC ring — and he just got bounced from a $2,200 satellite where most of the surviving field has never made a major final table.

Event #429, the $2,200 NLH Landmark Mega Satellite at the Horseshoe, is down to its final stretch. Pahuja was tracked among the 15 remaining players at two tables but doesn't appear to have survived to the finish. His $1.93M résumé and 33 career final tables made him the heaviest hitter left in the field — and it didn't matter.

Who's Still Alive

The players fighting for $10K Main Event seats read like the opposite of a Super High Roller final table. Ricardo Cermeno-Sandoval, a Canadian with one WSOPC ring and $224K in lifetime earnings, is the most credentialed name remaining. After him, the drop-off is steep: Brian Borst ($80K lifetime, one final table), Derek Sein-Lwin ($34K, two final tables), and Jackson Pekin — an Australian with $3,722 in total career cashes.

Zhen Chen, who has nearly $970K in lifetime earnings, was also tracked at two tables left. Whether Chen converted remains unclear from the available data. That's the thing about mega satellites — the $2,200 buy-in doesn't care about your Hendon Mob page. Pahuja's 33 final tables buy exactly zero chips. Somewhere at the Horseshoe right now, a player with less than $4K in lifetime earnings might be locking up a $10K Main Event seat that Pahuja couldn't.
