Shuffle 214 Is Running the Hottest PLO Waitlist in Texas
A Dallas social club has eight names deep on just two $1/3 PLO tables โ an 8:1 waitlist ratio that dwarfs the typical Texas room.

Eight Deep, Two Tables
The most oversubscribed poker game in Texas right now isn't at TCH or the Poker House โ it's at a Dallas social club called Shuffle 214, where eight players are waiting to squeeze onto two $1/3 PLO tables with bomb pots.
That's an 8:1 waitlist-to-table ratio, captured on Bravo the evening of May 21. The median waitlist for that game at Shuffle 214 sits at one name. Eight is not median. Eight is a room that can't seat demand fast enough.
That's an 8:1 waitlist-to-table ratio โ captured on Bravo the evening of May 21, against a median of just one name.
Why It Matters
Texas's social-club poker scene has exploded over the past two years, but most of the national attention lands on the big brands: Texas Card House in Austin and Dallas, the Lodge in Round Rock, Poker House in Dallas. Shuffle 214 doesn't carry the same name recognition. It doesn't stream on YouTube. It doesn't have a resident vlogger.
What it does have: a $1/3 PLO game with bomb pots that players clearly can't get enough of. Two tables running with a line eight deep means the club could likely fill four tables if it had the dealers and the floor space.
PLO bomb-pot games have become the format of choice at many Texas clubs, where the combination of four-card action and forced-pot rounds keeps average pots large and the atmosphere loud. But an 8:1 ratio is unusual anywhere, for any game. Most rooms would kill for that kind of overflow on their flagship hold'em spread, let alone a PLO variant.
The Dallas PLO Picture
Dallas has quietly become one of the deeper PLO markets in the country. Multiple social clubs in the metro run Omaha tables on any given night, and the $1/3 and $2/5 PLO spreads compete directly for the same player pool.
Shuffle 214's May 21 snapshot stands out because of concentration: heavy demand funneling into a small footprint. Two tables can only seat 18โ20 players. Add eight on the list and you have close to 30 players who showed up specifically for PLO bomb pots at one address on a single night.
Whether the club expands its PLO spread to absorb the overflow is the obvious next question. For now, if you want a seat at the hottest Omaha game in the state, bring a book โ or at minimum, put your name on Bravo before you leave the house.
