The $250 Seniors Final Table Is Live — and Nobody Has a Bracelet

Nine players are seated for a bracelet in WSOP Event #478 right now, and the man who led the field at two tables left — Steven Zerda — has never cashed a tournament that showed up in any database Charlotte can find.

Zero bracelets. Zero rings. Zero recorded lifetime earnings. Zerda topped a 13-player field at the two-table redraw of the $250 Seniors Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em event at the Horseshoe, and now he's nine-handed under the lights chasing gold.

Zero bracelets, zero rings, zero recorded lifetime earnings — and Steven Zerda led this field at two tables left.

The Table

The most credentialed player seated is Darrell Blodgett, who owns one WSOP Circuit ring and $178,337 in lifetime tournament cashes across three final tables. He's the closest thing to a known quantity at this final table — and even his résumé wouldn't get a second glance in most bracelet fields.

Rory Liffey, from Ireland, has $85,598 in lifetime earnings and two prior final tables. He sits on 1,195,000 chips. James Martin holds 1,110,000 chips with just $630 in recorded cashes — six hundred and thirty dollars, total, ever.

Rick Whitesell also carries a Circuit ring and $181,952 in lifetime earnings across 10 final tables. He was among the top stacks at two tables left alongside Zerda. Brian Beadle ($10,271 lifetime, one final table) and Shawn Morales ($9,141 lifetime) round out the players with any recorded history at all.

David Shein and Guy Caudill? No earnings on file. Same as Zerda.

Why You Should Watch

Three of nine players at this final table have no recorded tournament cashes. The combined lifetime earnings of all nine wouldn't cover a single Triton buy-in.
