WSOPC Montevideo's $300 Win The Button Turbo KO Reaches Final Table
Uruguay's Ernesto Aquino is among nine players left chasing a gold ring at Casino Carrasco.

The WSOP Circuit stop at Casino Carrasco in Montevideo has a final table in its $300 NLH Win The Button Turbo Knockout, with Uruguay's Ernesto Aquino among the last nine standing.
The field thinned fast. At 24 players remaining, Eduardo Mott Vega of Uruguay held the chip lead at 102,500, with Fernando Etcheverry (Uruguay, 86,000) and Robinson Jo Arandia (Peru, 84,500) close behind. By the time the final table was set, chip counts were no longer being reported — but the multinational rail had plenty to watch.
Who's Left
The nine-handed final table features players from four countries. Aquino and Diego Marino represent Uruguay. Robinson Jo Arandia flew in from Peru. Fernando Takemura and at least one other entrant carry the Brazilian flag. Argentina's Marcelo Alejandro Carmine rounds out the South American mix.
None of the finalists carry prior WSOP bracelet or ring credentials — meaning a first-time Circuit champion will be crowned.
Earlier Casualties
Notable bust-outs on the way to the final table included Argentina's Carlos Peuvrie De Urreta, who holds $2,200 in lifetime tracked earnings, and Chile's Francisca Cavada Orellana, who was eliminated before the final two tables merged. Brazil's Hanna Trad and Milton Pereira De Oliveira Junior also fell short of the final nine.
A gold ring and the title of WSOPC Casino Carrasco Montevideo champion are on the line. Results will follow when the final table concludes.
