25 Tournaments, $16.5M in Guarantees: The July 4th Weekend Slate

Twenty-five tournaments with a combined $16.5 million in guarantees fire between July 3 and July 6 across Las Vegas — the densest July 4th weekend poker slate in at least a decade.

Three Guarantees at $2M or Above

The BetMGM Championship headlines the weekend with a $3,200 buy-in NLH event carrying a $4 million guarantee. Day 1 flights run July 3 and July 4 at 12:00 p.m. PT.

At the WSOP, Event #71 — a $1,600 NLH Mystery Bounty with a $2 million guarantee — opens Day 1A on July 4 at 11:00 a.m. PT and Day 1B on July 5. Event #65, a $3,000 PLO Mystery Bounty also guaranteeing $2 million, wraps its final Day 1 flight on July 3 before moving to Day 2 on July 4.

Mid-Range Action

The BetMGM series also runs a PLO Championship ($2,000 buy-in, $1 million guarantee) on July 5. A separate $520 NLH Main Event with a $500,000 guarantee offers five Day 1 flights spanning July 3–5, making it the most accessible big-field option of the weekend.
