$250K Super High Roller Down to 18 — Stanley Tang Among Survivors
A player whose lifetime earnings wouldn't cover the buy-in is still alive in WSOP Event #41.

The $250,000 Super High Roller No-Limit Hold'em (Event #41) played down to 18 on Day 2 at the Horseshoe early on June 15, with Stanley Tang — a player whose $214,404 in lifetime earnings wouldn't cover a single buy-in — among the survivors.
Tang, a U.S.-based player with zero bracelets and zero rings, is seated alongside a field that includes Santhosh Suvarna of India, a three-time bracelet winner with $12.78M in lifetime cashes and nine career final tables. Two-time bracelet holder Jans Arends of the Netherlands ($6.05M lifetime, 13 final tables) is also still in.
Not every remaining player carries a mega-résumé. Yosuke Miki of Japan has $109,496 in career earnings — less than half of Tang's — making the $250K entry an even steeper bet relative to his track record. Spain's Ignacio Moron sits at $388,953 lifetime.
With two tables left, any min-cash in this event could dwarf Tang's entire career earnings to date. Chip counts were not available at the time of the report.
Play resumes later on June 15 at the Horseshoe.
