Daniel Hachem Among Final 14 in WSOP $1,000 PLO
The son of 2005 Main Event champion Joe Hachem was eliminated just short of the final two tables in Event #57 at the Horseshoe.

Daniel Hachem, son of 2005 WSOP Main Event champion Joe Hachem, ran deep in Event #57 β the $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha bracelet event β but fell in 16th place as the field condensed to its final two tables on June 24 at the Horseshoe.
The Australian, who carried $19,189 in lifetime tournament earnings entering the event, was eliminated alongside Portugal's Nuno Duarte (15th, $28,549 lifetime) and bracelet winner Thomas Skaggs (17th). Skaggs holds one bracelet and one Circuit ring with $257,563 in career cashes.
Fourteen Remain
With 14 players left, Sasha Guerin leads the surviving field at 9,300,000 in chips. The American has five career final tables and $234,680 in lifetime earnings. Christopher Hannel sits second with 6,000,000.
No player remaining at the two tables holds a WSOP bracelet.
The Hachem Name
Joe Hachem's 2005 Main Event title β worth $7.5 million β remains one of the most iconic wins in WSOP history. Daniel's deep run in a PLO bracelet event marks a notable moment for the family, though the younger Hachem's elimination keeps the bracelet hunt on hold.
Play continues at the Horseshoe with 14 players chasing gold.
