The 2026 WSOP's first bracelet will be decided at Event #13: the $1,500 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em reached its final table overnight with David Rees (1,247,000 chips) holding a slim lead.
Bastien Ravalet of Canada sits right behind Rees at 1,200,000, with Julius Jung (1,170,000) in third. The most decorated player at the table is Taylor Hart — three WSOP Circuit rings, 11 career final tables, and $829,592 in lifetime earnings — who returns fourth in chips with 985,000. Justin Arnwine (953,000; $224,850 in career cashes) rounds out the top five.
Event #14: Mixed PLO/Omaha Hi-Lo/Big O Down to 85
Event #14, the $1,500 Mixed PLO Hi-Lo 8 / Omaha Hi-Lo 8 / Big O, bagged 85 survivors after Day 1. The reported top stacks — including Edward White, Harold Hill, Jorge Arreola, and Kevin Phillipson — all sat at 25,000 entering the bag. Day 2 will sort out who's real.

Three overnight Landmark Mega Satellites wrapped at Horseshoe/Paris:
- $250 Daily Deepstack NLH (#146) — down to 27 players. Scott Lazar, who has $1,651,168 in lifetime tournament earnings, is among those still alive.
- $240 Daily NLH Mega (#147) — reached its final table. Anthony Kastelic (two Circuit rings, $425,237 in career cashes, 15 final tables) and Ramaswamy Pyloore ($471,234 in lifetime earnings) are both in contention.
- $135 Daily NLH Mega (#151) — also at its final table. Akshat Bajaj, a Canadian with one Circuit ring and $235,555 in career earnings, and Mrityunjay Jha ($167,726 lifetime, four final tables) highlight the remaining nine.
- $1,100 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw Mega (#149) — seven players remain. Zheyu Weng of China leads the group in career earnings at $367,313.
