Gruneberg Leads 17 Left in WSOP Event #62 ($2,500 NLHE)

Zachary Gruneberg, a two-time bracelet winner with eight WSOPC rings and $2.28 million in lifetime earnings, leads 17 remaining players in WSOP Event #62, the $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em event at the Horseshoe.

Gruneberg's 1.5 million chips put him among the top stacks as the field consolidates to two tables on the final day. He has 91 career final-table appearances — a volume number that underscores how often he's been in this position.

He's not the overall chip leader, though. That distinction belongs to France's Corentin Soulier, who has amassed 4.255 million in chips. Soulier has crossed the $1 million mark in lifetime cashes and is hunting his first bracelet.

Portugal's Mauro Ferreira sits second in chips at 3.47 million, while Caleb Harris and Great Britain's Robert Bull are both stacked at 2.895 million. Harris, with just $21,453 in career earnings entering the event, is deep in bracelet-event territory for the first time.
