Richard Ashby Reaches Final Table of $625 Satellite to $50K PPC

Richard Ashby, a two-time WSOP bracelet winner from Great Britain with $2.02 million in lifetime tournament earnings, is among the final nine players in Event #290, the $625 Landmark Satellite to the $50,000 Poker Players Championship.

The satellite doesn't award cash — it awards a seat into the $5,300 Landmark Satellite, which itself feeds into the $50K Poker Players Championship, the WSOP's premier mixed-game bracelet event. Ashby has 16 lifetime WSOP final tables and a Circuit ring to go with his two bracelets.

Also at the final table is Kenna James, a U.S. player with $1.43 million in career earnings and 11 final tables. Japan's Hiroyuki Asahisa, Mir Gaskari ($154K in career earnings, three final tables), Michael Mackenzie, and Ronald Petersen round out the identified players in the nine-handed field.

The final table formed late on June 20 at the Horseshoe/Paris complex in Las Vegas. No chip counts were available at the time of the milestone update.
