The $1K MINI Main Is Down to 85 — and the Chip Leader Is a Ghost
My Nguyen sits near the top of Event #72 with 10.85M chips and zero recorded WSOP history, but she's not even the biggest stack at the table.

My Nguyen has 10,850,000 chips in the $1,000 MINI Main Event right now, and if you search for her name in the WSOP database, you'll find exactly nothing. No cashes. No results. No history at all.
She's not even the chip leader.
The Stack That Matters More
Jason Mitchell has 12,200,000 — the outright biggest stack with 85 players remaining on Day 2 of Event #72. He's another blank page in the WSOP records: zero bracelets, zero rings, no recorded lifetime earnings. Two unknowns sitting on top of one of the summer's marquee low-buy-in fields.
But the most dangerous player left might be further down the leaderboard.
Jason James, a Canadian with one bracelet, two Circuit rings, 14 career final tables, and $1.63M in lifetime earnings, is sitting on 8,875,000. That's a comfortable above-average stack at this stage, and he's the only player in the top five with a résumé that matches the moment.

The Rest of the Top Five
Joshua Pridgen holds 9,100,000 with $44,991 in career earnings — enough history to prove he's cashed before, not enough to tell you much. Truong Nguyen rounds out the group at 9,000,000, carrying one WSOPC ring and $140,764 lifetime.
Three of the top five stacks belong to players with essentially no WSOP pedigree. The $1K buy-in does what it's supposed to do.
Why You Should Be Watching
Eighty-five left means the money bubble is either here or approaching fast. The tension between Nguyen's and Mitchell's massive stacks and James's experience makes every table-draw update worth tracking. This is the MINI Main — the field was enormous, the buy-in is accessible, and the final table will crown someone nobody expected.
