WSOP Event #499 Final Five: Combined Careers Wouldn't Cover a High Roller Buy-In

The $250 Daily Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em — Event #499 at the 2026 WSOP — is down to its final five players at the Horseshoe, and the combined lifetime earnings of the remaining field wouldn't cover a single $25K High Roller buy-in.

The five players still alive: Anshu Wang (China, $9,987 lifetime), Froilan Delapena (United States, $4,070), Jaime Suarez (Mexico, $630), Thomas Desson (France, no prior recorded cashes), and Isabelle Dang (Canada, no prior recorded cashes). None hold a WSOP bracelet or Circuit ring.

Add every tracked dollar across all five players and you get $14,687 — roughly 59% of what one seat costs in the Horseshoe's $25K High Roller down the hall.

Wang's $9,987 is the highest figure in the group, accounting for more than two-thirds of the combined total. Delapena's $4,070 is the only other four-figure career on the leaderboard.

The $250 Deepstack dailies draw hundreds of recreational players throughout the summer series. Chip counts for the final five have not yet been reported by WSOP.com, but play is expected to resume at the Horseshoe to determine the winner.
