WSOP Main Event Down to 54 on Day 7
The $10,000 World Championship field continues to shrink at the Horseshoe with no dominant chip leader separating from the pack.

The Field
Fifty-four players remain in the 2026 WSOP Main Event as Day 7 pushes past 9 p.m. PT at the Horseshoe in Las Vegas. The final table — and its nine seats — is now six eliminations from filling a single-day redraw.
The most recent bustouts tell the story of how wide-open this field still is. Ricardo Cermeno-Sandoval, a Canadian with one WSOPC ring and $248,793 in lifetime earnings across seven final tables, was eliminated in 55th place. France's Edouard Sacrispeyre exited in 56th with just $10,733 in career cashes. Jeffrey Weiss (US, $150,000 lifetime), David Kluchman (US, $3,040 lifetime), and Arash Vaziri (US, $20,020 lifetime) rounded out the latest wave of eliminations in 57th through 59th.
No Clear Frontrunner
No single stack has broken away from the remaining 54. The mix of recent eliminations — ranging from a seven-time final tablist to a player with barely $3,000 in career results — underscores how compressed the field remains at this stage of the Main Event.
Every remaining player is now guaranteed a six-figure payday, with the bracelet and eight-figure first prize still in play as Day 7 continues into the night.
