WSOP Overnight: Two Final Tables Set, Livschitz Wins Heads-Up Satellite

Three WSOP events hit inflection points overnight at the Horseshoe and Paris — here's where they stand.

Event #2: $5,000 8-Handed No-Limit Hold'em — Final Table

Nine players remain in Event #2, and Peter Mugar leads with 3,905,000 in chips. Close behind: Tony Ren Lin (3,360,000), a China-based pro with $4.93M in lifetime tournament earnings and 13 career final tables. Chenxiang Miao (2,375,000) and Anatoly Nikitin (2,020,000) are also above two million. Casey Hatmaker — a one-bracelet, five-ring veteran with $832K in career cashes and 39 final-table appearances — sits fifth at 1,350,000. Play resumes on Day 3 with a gold bracelet on the line.

Event #116: $250 Seniors Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em — Final Table

Eight players are left in the $250 Seniors Deepstack. Kennii Nguyen commands the lead at 1,060,000. Nguyen, a four-time WSOP Circuit ring winner with $620K in lifetime earnings and 17 final tables, is the most decorated player at the table. David Stoneburner (701,000) and James Milburn (290,000) round out the top three. Joel Cohen (9th, Australia, $84K lifetime) and Samuel Brown (10th, $145K lifetime) were the last two eliminated before the official final table.

Event #124: $2,750 Heads-Up NLH Mega Satellite — Complete

Victoria Livschitz won the $2,750 Heads-Up NLH Mega Satellite, earning a seat into the main heads-up bracket. Livschitz has $209K in lifetime tournament cashes. Other satellite winners included Arthur Peacock ($433K lifetime, one WSOPC ring), Neil Warren ($237K lifetime), Benoit Galland ($183K lifetime), and Mathew Steinberg.
